Latest, gearing up for the launch
The latest update. From this it seems they have faith in the reliability of the Grenadier.
The new INEOS Grenadier is almost here.
As a no nonsense 4X4, it’s built on purpose to excel off-road. And we want to offer everyone who orders one an exclusive chance to put it through its paces. In a truly memorable way.
To mark the first customer deliveries later this year, we’re inviting three European and UK based Grenadier owners to pick up their new Grenadier. Not from the local agent, but from us, at an undisclosed off-road location.
If selected, you’ll face an epic journey: driving your Grenadier the hard way home. Starting in one of Europe’s wildest and most isolated regions, you’ll face extremely challenging off-road terrain and have the chance to put your new vehicle to the test. A proper handover, for a proper off-roader. On us. Sound interesting?
Think you can handle taking the hard way home? Apply here before 31st August 2022.
Best of luck,

Brilliant! I like it. Thumbs Up

If it was a Land-Rover promotion it would now probably involve collection from a wilderness area... such as Alderley Edge.

I like the idea of a serious adventure as part of your vehicle purchase BUT I don`t like the idea of "driving your Grenadier" and, maybe doing damage to your brand new (and unfamiliar to you) vehicle before you even get it home.
Surely they could have used 3 demo vehicles for the epic journeys and then let the "lucky" owners drive their pristine purchases home from a location local to them, without battle scars and several hundred, or thousand, offroad miles already on the clock!

There will be some folks who'll love it. Did you see the Camel Trophy-esque event that LR put on for the buyers of their £200k Trophy Defenders recently? All done in their own very expensive vehicles. Darren

You`re right - the chance for an organised trans europe expedition sounds great and I`m sure no-one would enter if they weren`t prepared to do the trip as described in their own vehicle. And I`m sure Ineos will milk the trips for its publicity value.
My point was that a lot of high end manufacturers (and Land Rover!!!) offer you an experience/training session when you fork out a lot of money for their product - Land Rover Experience days, Porsche at Silverstone, Mercedes at Brooklands etc. BUT they all supply the vehicle. Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly!
