Fordson E27N
Bit off topic and something different…

Many many years ago (approx 25) my parents bought some land adjoining their farm. I’m a barn on it was an old Fordson. Story goes it worked the fields there and was then parked up. Sadly many bits where stolen in the 70s or early 80s.

Any way the barn was cleared for cattle and this got put in a corner of a small plantation, 25 years later maybe it was time to get it out and under cover again…

Not actually sure what I’m going to do with it, everything is available so could be restored. Engine is seized but I’m trying to free it.

It’s a high top gear model and was at one point registered so will try and get its registration back.

Photos below of extraction!

What a find Thumbs Up

I would only restore it if you wanted to keep the tractor as a sentimental thing. You will burn through money restoring it, and although some tractors do make silly money, the E27N won't make the kind of money to change your lifestyle Laughing

Saying that, I think it would make a fantastic project.

Thanks for posting the photos, and if you do decide to restore or at least get it going, please keep the photos coming Thumbs Up

Haven’t touched this since getting it under cover until the kids decided they wanted to earn some pocket money….

Pulled the rad out (very heavy!!) and head off. Still very seized so have filled it with diesel in the hope I can get it spinning again.

Still not sure what to do with it
