Wiring in diff lock 1988 vehicle
After some wiring advice please.

I have a 1988 e reg 90 that has had a number of items replaced along the way, gbox, bulkhead, some wiring etc.

The diff lock switch is not connected to anything on the transfer box. There is no loom there.

Diff lock works.

There are no obvious wires terminating that should go to the difflock switch from the dash indicator bulb.

For ease I would like to run a new wire from the dash indicator bulb to the diff lock switch.

What colour wire should I be connecting this wire too? I believe this then switches to earth to illuminate the bulb when thendiff lock is engaged.

Ideally looking to pick up feed off the back of the white multiplig that connects to the tell tail indicator bulbs.

I will run other terminal on t box switch to earth.

Any help appreciated. Cheers

All sorted this afternoon. Even found the original blue and black wire on the chassis rail, shame it had been worked into the fuel sender! Cheers
