Fog lamp not working after headlight fault.
The headlights on my Defender puma 2.4 2011 stopped working. I sorted it by replacing the indicator horn stalk switch but now the rear fog lamp doesn't work. I'm not sure when it stopped working.

The fog lamp switch lights up when turned on. To clarify - I am checking while the headlights are on (main and dipped beam). I've checked the connector to the fog lamp switch and there's no obvious corrosion. The fog lamp relay makes noise when I press the switch so assuming its working.

Rear fog lamp bulb is fine. I've checked the cables from the rear fog lights along the chassis right up to the front and they seem ok.

Any ideas on where to try next?

Have you got a multimeter to check voltage at the fog light end is OK?

TamarBlue11 yeah had 10.54 coming to the rear fog lamp. I used sandpaper inside the bulb housing and replaced the bulb still nothing. But good news! I then replaced the whole thing with an old one of my dads and it’s working again. Might’ve been corrosion or a loose connection in the fog light bulb housing but I could take it apart to see without breaking it. Thanks for replying so quick and for the suggestion.
