Just popped to my local Indie, who is a self confessed Defender obsessive. He owns upwards of twenty. Here's a small selection of some tidy/interesting examples he has on his forecourt. Nice

Quite right shaggy, and couldn't agree with you more.
For anyone in the Haute Savoie who's stuck and looking for a part or need a Defender to be fixed, he is absolutely the go-to man. Monsieur Le Grenadier

He's in the Industrial Estate in Sallanches, just off the main drag. Coming from the Motorway(A40), take the left at the roundabout and head into the Estate. You'll drive for a good 500m and then as a reference point you'll see a very obvious stone masons, followed by a bathroom shop on your right hand side. Keep an eye open as you'll see his sign a couple of right turns after that. The forecourt with all the landies is visible from the road. Excellent service, but always at least 6-8 weeks for work to be done, so plan ahead.
