She’s back on the road!

Now running a slightly tweaked 4.6 Thor - Piper cam, ported, etc. she’s pulls better than any Defender I’ve had before!

Brakes need upgrading, along with suspension bushes etc then a little work on the inside…

How was the wiring going from a P38 to a 110. Did you have much difficulty stripping back the loom? Are you running a manual or auto box?

I got the engine already built up and running stand alone, then had my local specialist drop it in.

Running original LT95 gearbox (I like them so it’s staying for now)

The temptation to put a V8 in my series is getting stronger by the day and we’ll theres no replacement for displacement it’s already running an Lt77 and LT230 so originality doesnt matter. Just doing so research on concerting a 4.6 to a manual and how to deal with the ECU

Sadly a small loom fire (fuse box to headlight switch, lots of nasty smoke) livened up one morning commute last week…

Just me thankfully! Ironically was due to have the glass fuses changed for blades two days later. The wiring was a mess in her but hopefully pretty much on top of that now

Wiring now all good, fuses converted to blade from the early glass type, USB added and a few other little bits sorted.

Running really well, I’m getting quite attached…

Much more to come in the new year Very Happy
