To the inexperienced how does this one compare to the optimill quick release boss?

quick release

The mechanisim is the same and it seems very well engineered , normally used in competition cars

You pull on the two black paddles and it releases

2 main differences

there is no spinning mount to fit on removal of the wheel, it just leaves a stub

it moves the wheel 60mm closer to the driver
