Problem fitting GRP 'Puma' bonnet

I tried to fit the GRP 'Puma' bonnet (supplied by Masai) to my 200 tdi today, but I cannot get it to fit properly. The bonnet fouls on the bulkhead rain gutter.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Not sure if I am going to have to trim down the lip on the rear of the bonnet - don't relish the though of introducing a grinder to a GRP bonnet!

Id get in touch with Masai, just in case its a bad item. i wouldn't start messing about grinding, things should be plug in play. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
