Wall box chargers
This afternoon in Halfords the staff were finishing off putting up a display of Rolec EV car chargers that they are now offering to install at an all inclusive price (depends on whether your electric fuse box can take the load of course). They are offering Rolec dumb and smart chargers if anyone is looking at installing in the UK

It’s not very clear if that is before or after the rebate, but my Wallbox Pulsar only set me back about £350 I think after the (c.£500?) government allowance…

Great little unit if anyone is looking for a small and neat 7kW charger! Cheers, David

I thought all the rebates/ grants were now finished except for landlords and flats?
I have a Zappi charger that was installed last December and after all the grants it cost me around £100 but today it would be £780 + installing costs. Ah, that could well be the case! Mine was installed in late 2020.

Can recommend the Wallbox charger anyway if anyone’s looking for one at the small and neat end of the spectrum Cheers, David
