This is the thing with most of the 'modern' green living.......
Everything is only designed to last a few years at best and then to be thrown away and start anew??
On which planet (certainly not mine) is that remotely 'green' or sustainable??

Exactly the point, Spudfan Thumbs Up

It seems the only way the environmentalists can go green is to produce something new.

And as 90 Dreamer says, what they produce to go green, is bust and needs replacing in no time.

Not car related, but there is an interesting fight going on with the Art Deco Marks and Spencer’s building in the West End. M&S want to raise it to the ground and build a new ‘green’ building with a smaller retail space and offices and flats above. Some are saying the building should be kept and re-modelled as this would be far more environmentally friendly.
