Haynes Autofix
Has anyone used Haynes Autofix guides? Any good?

I’ve just bought a VW Up! Just tried to get the Haynes manual, and they no longer exist! Just this new online faultfinding guide. Just want something for now for the basics like servcing and brakes etc. but will probably end up needing do the clutch or whatever (as is/was the case with the Landy).

Any suggestions?

You can get copies of the VW up workshop manual in pdf format on a well known auction site, just type VW up workshop manual, circa £12-£20.

I'd be interested in any feedback on Haynes Autofix too. Its' not easy to understand what it actually is. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I considered asking exactly the same question last week. I’ve just bought a smart fortwo but I can’t find a single active forum. Hopefully someone on here will have some experience. Good old defender 2 to the rescue! 2002 110 td5

Jimb1978, i will ask my pal, he had the mk2 version, and i am sure there was a forum. But a lot of forums have vanished in the recent years, due to facebook groups been setup. the 306 forums i was a member of went this way, One closed the forum completely back in 2014, the other is still online, but not active at all. But for how long, time will only tell, as the people who were running it, lost interest in it many moons ago. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Thanks for the replies, I’m now sorted for maintaining my new(ish) VW. I knew the Land Rover forum would be the best place to ask!

Regarding Autofix, would still be keen to hear if anyone has paid for it and used it at all. When the say “no longer has step by step guides” that just sounds no good at all!
