Please can anyone advise where and what part this is around the stereo

Hi - its the radio bezel.

You can see it as item 3 on the diagram below:

there was a forumer with a dash centre for sale with some additional holes in it... but the actual stereo surround that you're looking for looks spot on. Might be a solution:

I recall seeing a 3D printable version for the bezel online somewhere. With the right settings you'd probably end up with a similar finish to factory but much stronger. Might be work tracking that down?
