So here is my story. MY23 D250 110 SE
Delivered 04.03. and SW said nothing at delivery. No version number or name.
About 2 weeks ago (about March 23rd) the Pivi Pro said that “new software 3.1 has been downloaded and is ready to be installed” the time it calculated is 35 minutes.

So I tried to install and it didn’t. Did it about 10x and no positive result.
Called dealer and brought the car in this tuesday. No result until today. They have spoken with the software team at Nitra that install all the software on each and every car but they also had no idea why the Pivi Pro of my car did not install the update.
They wanted to keep the car but I need it and as everything works perfect for me I now don’t see why I should let the car sit with the dealer for, maybe, 10-14 days.
Maybe in a few weeks I’ll go back and see if there is a solutiin. 110 D250 SE Tasman Blue, white roof, black pack, advanced towing pack, rear diff locker, driver assist

Have you tried taking t for a good drive = nice charged battery

Shut everything, get out and double lock the car

I have had a few not install a few times and it’s always been something to do with conditions eg single lock, I think a few times it wasn’t happy with the battery conditions after short runs etc Mike

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the ideas. I’ll try after tomorrows 2h drive and see what happens.
I always touble locked the doors but the battery idea is something I haven’t thought of.

No success. Dealer called and he wantsvthe car back to run more stest why it‘s not installing.
He said could take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3-4 month…
I gave him an ultimatum of 14 days. If not fixed I‘ll pick up the car as it just runs fine. 110 D250 SE Tasman Blue, white roof, black pack, advanced towing pack, rear diff locker, driver assist

Got update 3.2.0.a

This night I received upate 3.2.0a.

mostly security setups for better recognition of traffic and signals on the road and changes to ASDL (Automatic Speed Delimiter is that the right name?).

I did get the same update about 5 days ago.
Tried to install, guess what happened. Didn’t install.
Next Tuesday car will go back to the dealer to solve the issue BUT I’ll give them 14 days to get it fixed otherwise I’ll pick it up again.
Dealer told me they had a car with a SW issue and it took 3 month to get it fixed and all the time the car sat at the dealer. 110 D250 SE Tasman Blue, white roof, black pack, advanced towing pack, rear diff locker, driver assist

I received mine yesterday and updated fine.
I didn’t manage to jot down what all the updates were but seemed quite comprehensive in the area of driver assistance technologies.
Mainly better adaptive cruise control, AEB, collision avoidance etc…

One thing which I appreciate is the extension of the time limit when stationary to trigger 'resume' when the adaptive cruise control is on. It was 3 seconds, but it’s now 30 seconds.

I received 3.2.0a a couple of days ago but I can't get it to install the update.

I have tried both scheduling the update and setting it to do it immediately. Neither worked. Previous updates have installed first time.

Any suggestions for my next move?

Try taking the car for a drive - decent distance - to get the battery up as it could be below the threshold that allows the install to take place. Then try it again. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Good advice. I rebooted the Pivi Pro and gave the car a good run. It installed as scheduled yesterday evening.

Anyone else got lots of issues with 3.2.0? Apple car play only covering 2/3 of screen. Missing some stuff in settings, etc?

No issues myself but have you tried rebooting the Pivi Pro system to see if that helps? To reboot the system hold down the power button for the screen until the screen goes off and once it starts rebooting with the LR Logo let off the button, hopefully that may help.

No issues with 3.2.0, though still to receive 3.2.0a 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue
