[For Sale] Defender 90 XS

My friends father passed away from Covid late last year, and she’s asked me to sell her fathers 90 on behalf of her mother. Its with me in Oxfordshire now, and while I haven’t gone over it with a fine toothcomb it is in very good condition.

It was bought from Land Rover as an ex management car at one year old, and then has done two to three thousand miles very year. It was waxoiled in 2015 and the only rust I can see is on the front bumper (a new one is £60 from LRParts).

Its totally standard other than having a stainless steel fixing set fitted as far as I can see. Certainly everything feels very fresh and tight.

Its done 30,500 miles and is MOT’d to Oct this year, road fund is £275.

It’s Feb 22 CAP clean trade value on a 61 plate 2011 at 31k is currently £40k

If you consider this to be a clean example don’t under value it

I'd spend £100 on a new bumper and a proper clean and polish and start with a much higher price. You can always come down....

Anyone spotted the value new in 2011 was £23,800. Fast forward 11 years and an increase of circa £16k… now at £40,000… how bonkers is that..

Whilst this isn’t an XS or Safari, plus higher miles, it would be interesting to know what the CAP value of this Defender is…comes with a/c plus other additions .

Looking at the spec and condition, I think it is a super example and the next owner will be proud to drive, even if they can’t chip the price down.

I know there are plenty about currently but they are all getting older, so grab a nice one while you can
