United Kingdom 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 CSW Zermatt Silver
[SOLD] Low Mileage 2011 Defender 110 CSW
2011 Land Rover Defender 110 County Station Wagon

This cherished vehicle was my “keeper”. I always imagined it would see me through to the end of my driving days - and possibly it has! My long term ownership plans were sabotaged by an unexpected cardiac arrest. My licence has been revoked on medical grounds. Whether or not I'll get it back will depend on how well I recover and whether the electronic device now implanted in my chest delivers any “therapy”! Either way, if I’m eventually passed fit to drive, I’ll now need to downsize to something more manageable. Enough waffling, here are the details…

Zermatt Silver
63,920 miles
12 months MOT
Full service history. Has only covered 1,335 miles since it’s last service. This was carried out by Mountain Ash, a highly regarded Land Rover trained independent specialist. They have looked after this and my previous Defender throughout my ownership. Being a 2011, it has the 2.4 engine which starts and runs faultlessly.
Alive Tuning 150bhp upgrade
New Marsland galvanised chassis fitted in 2020 by Alpine Restorations, Sowerby Bridge. They finished it with t-wash and black Buzzweld 2k armour paint to maintain an original and subtle factory appearance. For peace of mind I should add that the chassis swap came about as a result of an insurance claim after a collision. The vehicle was deemed repairable and did not attract any insurance salvage code category. I have a current and extensive TotalCarCheck “hpi check” report available for any potential purchaser.
Michelin Latitude Cross 235/85R16 tyres all round. They are like new having done less than 1,000 miles since fitting. (The spare is an unused General Grabber TR 235/85R16).
2 sets of keys
Owners pack wallet including service book, audio manual and brand new owner's handbook.

Included exterior accessories/extras:-
Black Optimill hinges to the Station Wagon (5th) door
Mud rear door gas strut.
Stainless steel rear door sill.
Black Optimill bonnet hinges
Black Nakatanenga stainless steel snow cowl.
Genuine Land Rover headlight guards.
Wing top bonnet release cable guard,
Additional frontal bonnet release cable guards
Mantec raised air inlet to offside.
Equipe 4x4 fairlead cover to nearside
4 new side steps
Wipac Crystal Clear Headlights

Included interior accessories/extras:-
Mud glove box conversion.
Tuff Trek rear door organiser.
Discreet double USB socket in front dash.
MUD vanity mirror on passenger side sun visor
Genuine LR rubber mats to front and 2nd row.
In addition to the factory alarm system, there is a high quality aftermarket alarm/immobiliser fitted by an approved installer. (I will provide full details and documents to the purchaser).
This auto-electrician also fitted an auxiliary battery system (under the front passenger seat). It has separate permanent and “ignition live” feeds.

During my ownership I have maintained this vehicle in good condition and it attracts many admiring comments. However, in the interests of honesty to potential buyers, there are some minor issues to mention. There’s a minor water ingress on the nearside which appears to be coming from the N/S alpine light (narrow roof window). I bought some genuine Land Rover rubber seals (included in sale) to fix this but the above mentioned change in my personal circumstances have prevented me undertaking this task. There are paintwork scratches on the bonnet (see photos). The indicator switch sometimes self cancels on right turns. It’s a fault common to many Defender which has been often discussed here on the forum. I chose to live with this “foible”. If my signal cancelled too soon I simply gave the switch a second flick.

Hopefully nothing there too off putting for a new owner to deal with if they feel it necessary, particularly when you consider the many positives of this low mileage Defender.

£25,000

Really sorry to hear of your troubles, a salutary reminder of how fragile our health can be. I wish you the best for your recovery and (as the young folk would say) GLWTS.

It a very lovely Defender and I think a very down-to-earth price.

Really sorry to hear your news Peter. For anyone thinking about this, I bought Peter's old 90 before he bought this 110 - a great experience and its condition was a credit to him. Good luck.
