Simon @ PowerfulUK was looking into it and at present it isn’t available on any other version of the car except the V8, which is a great pity - I’ll be at the front of the queue if it ever becomes a retro-fit possibility Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

I'd happily pop along to Simon and have him fit it to any car that I owned. He's less than an hour from me. But he's primarily an internet based company and doesn't normally let customers visit the office/warehouse. 110 D250 SE HT

Powerful have actually got a set of paddles up for sale on their site but it states to use them you would need the alcantara steering wheel from the V8 Defender models which has cut-outs in the back for the paddles. Hopefully somebody can work out if they can be retrofitted as it's one thing I miss when driving off-road, in the Discos and FFRR's it means you can keep your hands on the wheel to change gear, I don't think I've ever used them when on the tarmac Laughing

If I remember correctly I read that Venture Automotive in Bolton had fitted and coded in a V8 Alcantara wheel with paddle shifters to their test vehicle. Not sure if LR Retrofits have done it too 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon

Hi,

Vulcan (based in Thetford) fit these. I had them done along with a steering wheel upgrade (thicker and thumb rests) works a treat. I drove my P400 X from London to Monaco and the paddle shift was great for correcting the annoying variable cruise downshift/surge. Highly recommend having it done. ------------------------------

The only vehicle that cant have paddles according to Vulkan is the 400e. They can be fitted to the rest. 110 XS 250 MY 23 Gondwana Stone, Cold climate pack and towbar

Did they fit just the paddles and steering wheel cl65amg? Or do they have to fit the switch pack and wiring harness?

Powerful have a kit which includes the paddles, switch pack and wiring harness, I was told that if you already had the heated wheel you didn't need the switch pack and harness Confused But the person that told me that seems to have disappeared so I'm just trying to confirm what is actually needed Rolling Eyes

Thanks for that I appreciate it, that confirms my suspicions about the switch pack anyway. I'm not too confident with the kit that Powerful is selling as they include that £150 switch pack in the kit and the wiring harness they list is described as W/o adaptive cruise, w/heated when you search for the part number, now my car has ACC and a heated steering wheel Confused When I've had a look at the parts catalogue it lists LR133018 as the required wiring harness but I will need somebody to confirm that for me. If possible I'm going to attempt to fit it myself when I have time and code it to the car with the help of Patrick from GAP and the IID tool Thumbs Up
