Battery light
Went to LRO show today and after going through some water on the off road course the battery light came on, got 90 miles on the way home and died! Take it my alternaters died?

Have you had a look at it? might be full of mud. checked the battery box? might be full of water.

Yeah had a look at the alternater, theres signs that muddy water has been there but its not thick of it! There is signs that water has been in the bottom of the battery box but only enough to cover the floor of it

Stick a hose in the side of it, wash out as much mud as poss.

Il give it a try, if it is the alternater, whats peoples thoughts on recon units or shall i go for a new one?

use a multimeter to check the battery voltage with the engine running, it should be around 14 volts. This will tell you for sure if the alternator is smoked.
