ECU NNN500020 to NNN000120
Happy 2022 to everyone! Mr. Green

I got offered a NNN000120 ECU out of a 2003 Disco.
Always wanted to have a spare ECU therefore I am considering buying it.

I drive a Defender TD5 from 2006 with the original NNN500020 ECU still in it. I am planning a trip to romania in May especially for that trip I want to have a backup ECU with me.

Am I right saying that I can get the NNN000120 ECU to run in my 2006 Defender?
Of course I have a Nanocom and would sync the AS10, update throttle pedal settings and injector codes. Do I need to update the .map file too?

Is there something I am not aware off?

engine temp gauge will not read right Disco. engine temp gauge read in reversed

Czech Republic 1999 Defender 130 Td5 HCPU Baltic Blue
Just remap with proper standard Defender map, and it will work fine. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile
