Huge congrats! Can i ask what spec you have? So you have the full digital Dash, clear view mirror and 11.4 screen? Can i ask what sound system you specced? Full usb in the back? I only ask cause these missing items are keeping me from ordering mine. |

Many thanks. I am a tiny bit excited!
My spec is HSE x-dynamic. I added cold weather, Fridge centre console, Advanced off road pack, off-road tyres, matrix headlights, dark grey trim. I wanted the tow bar but the salesman basically told me I’d wait an extra 5-6 months if I added the tow bar. In hindsight I should have ignored him! I told the dealer I wanted to physically look at it before paying as I read so many missing spec stories I was worried. From what I can see nothing is missing. All USBs, 11.4 screen (would have rejected without it as otherwise I might as well paid for an SE), clear sight, 2 keys and full digital dash. I went for mainly off-road stuff as I intend to get it dirty as soon as possible down at Slindon and some lanes around here. Not sure about the wrangler tyres as the side walls are rubbish. Ko2s in 265/60r20 are about 350 a corner so will have to see how the wranglers hold up! Got to stop looking at accessories websites! From what I’m hearing most are coming through fully specced. Worst case cancel if it comes without your spec, If you can live with cancelling after the wait I would say go for it. I suspect the free refund on deposits will go fairly soon as the market changes. Sorry also the Meridian surround sound system for audio. Not sure if my old ears will tell the difference in quality but I’m happy so long as I can play it LOUD!*

Hi Sideways, that looks amazing and I can fully appreciate how excited you are. Out of interest on the Meridian Surround Sound, was this specced originally for you or were you expecting the standard Meridian sound system? The reason I ask is mine was order mid-Feb 23 with the surround sound, it then moved to a MY24 build and is due to me late August, but without the surround sound.

I am just finalising my MY24 spec to order later this month and now see that the Meridian surround sound system which was standard on HSE is now £630 (which the configurator pre-selects)
Was originally ordering in February but held off due to supply issues |

Interesting development and what I though was surround sound was not.
I have contacted the dealer as it was on my order form and now they are providing without. Have asked to be refunded £630. Will post their reply! |

For anyone interested here is the reply from the dealer.
There was no charge on the original order for the surround sound system and although a charge is shown for a new configuration online, It is not possible to order this now or for the foreseeable future. However, we would be willing to offer a goodwill gesture which comprises of a choice of the following; £500 Discount The customer care product of your choosing - please see the 4 options in attatched sheet. Was reasonably happy to get offered 500. Don’t agree with the argument there was no cost and you can’t order it currently when it’s on the bloomin’ order form and available as an option on the configurator. Would have just preferred an apology and here’s 500. But I’m happy overall! |

Bizarre response from the Dealer - they lack any sense of customer care - but great you now have £500
Also cannot see the logic that you cannot order it now when the configurator has just been updated in the last week to show it as a cost option |

To be fair the sales guy came back after that email and said they wanted me to have a good experience and was sorry. Alls well that ends well. So far….! |
