Knocking sound in EV
I picked up my new p400e last week (love it) and have noticed a knocking sound when I'm driving in EV mode. It's not loud and I almost think it's when it changes gear but I'm wondering if others have experienced this and if it's just the norm?

I’m a couple of weeks in with my P400e & I definitely don’t have a knocking when driving in Electric mode of Hybrid. It has a slight knock when brakes release from Hold mode when pulling away from junction stops . 2023 110 P400e

Thanks macduff, good to know your experience. I'm not sure it's just in EV mode tbh as driving home last night in hybrid, it was making the sound when pulling away with the ICE! A call to the dealership is needed I think......

So on driving again this morning, it is only on pulling away and not always immediately but definitely not during continuous driving. It would be good to know if others experience this and if it is just normal....as macduff mentions, perhaps it is just the brakes releasing!

I've had my P400e for three months but have not been aware of any knocking sounds. Sorry I can't be of more help but a call to the dealership as you say...
