Late diff pinion loctite?
Just removed diff pinion flange from 65 plate to replace seal. The pinion flange appears to be loctite’d to the pinion gear on this diff, presumably to prevent oil migration along the splines like the old felt washers used to do under the pinion washer which seem to have been done away with around Td5/ TDCi time. Someone has borrowed my Sykes hydraulic puller so haven’t pulled the flange off yet, anyone else come across this on late diffs?

Yes, I don't think it's unusual but couldn't tell you when it started.
