My sincere apologies Kiter - you're right, the two aren't mutually exclusive.

My family were tenant farmers, who lived in 'summer wellies' and used binder-twine for belts.. they actually had a Range Rover.. but this was the 80s, and it had been to the moon and back.

They were SHOCKED when I took them to a land rover dealer in Derby, recently.
