Has anyone used or own one of these they look really good for the uk, being wet 99% of the time. Seem a lot cheaper than the SA brands as well.
Don't want to get a lemon though! What you all think ? Pom |

For that sort of money you could pick up a Maggot on eBay provided you keep an email alert set.

I had one of these and despite being of dubious far-eastern provenance, it was really good:

Did a trip with someone who had a 'cheaper' eBay tent they were pleased with it until the storm hit!
Best thing go to the shows and have a long hard look. It's going to be wet at Peterborough so you will see how they perform. |

GRUMPY old git mode. Yes tents will get wet. Only problem is that next week I will have about 10 tents to dry out. I want a DRY weekend Grumpy old kit mode off One test for roof tents is time taken to erect and also pack the tent away. Ask seller to demonstrate it. Brendan |

i have a eezi-awn T-Top 160 fits perfectly on the defender, of course with that extra room when open with side walls.
we used it (two persons) for months non-stop in australia and it never let me down, i know they are a little expensive but quality makes a big difference. I know of people who's "cheap" roof tent ripped open when the wind came from the side. The eezi-awn have very good stiches and a very durable canvas. Even in the rain it stays dry.
