SONT DSX-410BT - Not powering up??
Hi folk

Can't believe I could get this wrong but I've bought the above Sony Radio and it's just NOT powering up.
There is a 10A fuse built in and that is OK too.

I don't have any multi pinned sockets for it so simply connecting the black of the power connector to Earth/Negative and the red to a 12v supply but nothing!

There are four power cables:

YELLOW - Continious power supply
Blue/White - Power Antenna
RED - Switched power supply
BLACK - Ground / Earth

Are you connecting both red and yellow to +ve, or just the red? If the latter (as you state) I wouldn't expect it to power up.

I initially connected just red ... then connect Red and Yellow but still nothing? 2010 Defender 90 300Tdi CW (White/1994)
