Can I fit 265 75 16s to Boosts on a 110 without spacers?
As per the title...

I'm saving up for new wheels but my tyres really.need replacing now.

I want 265s on ET0s but for now I'm wondering if I can put on the current 16" Boosts. I presume I'll lose a teeny bit of lock as the tyre will be inset 15mm more due to the I crease of 30mm tyre width.

Anyone done this? Is the loss of lock material or still manageable?

Yes you can. It is only when you go to 285/75 tyres that the limitations on steering lock become intrusive (and most suppliers and fitters don't recommend 285s on rims the width of Boosts anyway, though it can be done).

Yeah, currently got 265/75R16 Hankook RT03s on Tornado alloys on my 110, which are the same width/offset.

They brrt slightly sometimes on full lock but it doesn't bother me. No other issues. ---

This is an MOT failure I'm afraid, you might want to adjust your lock stops.

Not for me Wink

I prefer the iota of extra noisy lock if required Smile ---

I've been very happy with my 265 BFG KO2'S, but some find them slippery in wet. James

I agree with James, but i find them not grip so much when the road is a bit greasy, otherwise can't fault them Thumbs Up 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.

Just fitted BFG ko2 on freestyles and no problem .

Not tried in anger in the wet as in a boy racer , but it was pouring down when i left the tyre shop and they felt equal to the conti cross contacts i just pulled off . But like i said i wasn't booting it , but they are classed B in the wet , so a bit confused about the reports .

Maybe a bit late, and not KO2s or Boosts, but my 110 wears Hankook 265/75R16 RT03s on Tornado alloys which are the same offset, so will give you some idea of where the wheel sits in the arches. Mine rubs the radius arms on full lock but nobody here cares, so I leave it for "emergency steering lock" Laughing
