Do you mean the one in the cammo wrap about 3.40 minutes in, as that's a five door with the rear doors covered over? The only ones I can see in the snow are station wagons (unless I'm watching the wrong video) Confused

Just a quick point of clarification:

What I heard is that they are offering the 5-door wagon and a pickup.

The wagon is coming in two configurations: A 5-seat wagon AND a 2-seat commercial variant

I think to be clear we need to adopt Ineos' nomenclature:

Station Wagon ~ has 5 doors and 5 seats
Utility Wagon, 2 seat ~ has 5 doors and 2 seats and deemed to be commercial
Utility Wagon, 5 seat ~ has 5 doors and 5 seats and deemed to be commercial

Then to follow:

Double cab pick up ~

Off to find this 2 door version in the snow...

I think you've got the utility wagons mixed up. Darren

both the utility wagon configs are on the configurator and you can see the 2nd row seats which are more upright with a dog guard behind, and a larger load area. its a bit like a DCPU without being a pickup.

Right, I've found the photos to show the difference 👍

I imagine that the commercial will be too heavy to qualify as a DPV, so presumably will be subject to commercial speed limits but will be in the N1 road tax class. The non-commercial will be subject to car limits but the downside will be the M1 road tax.

I know which I would choose!

So would that be 275 pa road tax if its treated as a van/lcv? So the downside is 60 in a 70 singel carriageway? id have thought you would be seriously unlucky to be picked up on that tbh.

I know this has been debated elsewhere, but is a 5 seat utility wagon VAT reclaimable and a van for bik purposes - I was never convinced that was the case for a 110 USW Confused Rob

I might have been wrong about being wrong! Your right that does just have the rear doors covered over. I could have sworn ASPW spoke about the 2 door commercial variant too but can’t recall where in the video that was.

Well my 110 USW has been registered that way and HMRC haven't complained over the last 10 years. I plan to do the same with the 5 seat Utility Grenadier.

I think I was confused Supacat - that camo’d one you posted a pic of is the one I’m talking about. I could have sworn it was in the snow but in watching it again it looks like I confused the grey concrete for snowy conditions - you’d think as a Canadian I’d be able to tell the difference Very Happy but I’ll blame my tiny phone screen.

On my tiny screen it looked like a 2 door but now that I see it bigger it’s a camo’d 4 door. As I previously said I thought ASPW said something about a 2 door but I’d have to go back through to find the time stamp, and given I couldn’t tell the difference between snow and concrete I’m taking myself out of the running as a reliable witness till I watch the video again Very Happy

I just quickly scrubbed through the vid and couldn’t find any mention. If a two door. If anyone is looking with fresh eyes maybe let us know?

Having now watched his video in full, he talks repeatedly about a "2 door van". Given the only other reference to a 2 door model was also in the Australian press, then maybe they have both picked up on an Aussie press release or online event where someone has mis spoken or let the cat out of the bag on an upcoming development.

Don't forget there's also a 7 seat variant on the longer wheelbase (double cab) chassis that's been confirmed in the press then gone all silent on?
