L663 Land Rover Route Planner app

Page 335 & 336 of the Defender manual ( I bought one, all 590 pages of it!) describes downloading the Land Rover Route Planner from the Apple Store and then opening it using my InControl log in.
But it doesn't recognise my login.
I tried registering for the app online again using my In Control log in details but still no joy.
Is the problem that it won't work with Pivi pro? If so why is it in my handbook?
Or am I doing something wrong.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Where did you buy the manual? Is it the same as the I guide - or actually useful?

Cant help on your question sorry - I use Waze via Apple Car Play

Hi Simon.I bought it from www.jaguarlandroverliterature.com at the outrageous price of £53. Its the size and thickness of a substantial paper back novel

It seems the Route app is not compatible with Pivi Pro Navigation, despite the iGuide etc!
