Defender XS silicon silver

No exterior add-ons apart from classic mud flaps and rear bright bumper protector. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible:

Put the order in as soon as I could for the 22MY (I was two days late ordering the FE 22MY) which I think was end of March? Delivery 22nd July. Has the large pivi pro screen too. It was built but not released for a couple of weeks in the factory, same as other reported.

Nice, very nice. Good colour choice. Thumbs Up

Any chance "we" could see an photo of the classic mudflaps. I thought about adding them but wasnt sure how it would look with the colour coded trims.

Should get ours in about 6weeks.

The classic mud flaps was one of the 101 issues I had in my head with the XS and coloured trim. I don’t have a photo unfortunately, but can say they look great and do not look odd or “stuck on”. I know what you’re worried about, they fit slight onto the side of the vehicle and look integrated with the black side trim on the other models. To me, the classic mud flaps were the only definite exterior addition and do look great on the XS - if you go for a more simple look like mine then you need something subtle that look Defender.

My opinion only as it’s all subjective. The colour is great and was my major worry. I also have acorn interior which I love so took a gamble as this wasn’t a typical optioned car.

The classic flaps are definitely worth adding, they do keep a lot of muck and grime off the body. The best mud flaps I’ve had on an LR. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

I looked at the price of the classic flaps and thought ouch. Then I looked at the work involved and thought ouch. However you cant seem to buy them so I'll add them. The rear seem vulnerable without flaps.

I was thinking about adding an RAI when SWMBO wasn't looking.

Two basic protection items - the mud flaps and something to protect that vulnerable rear bumper. Both cost a bit

I just got 1 as part of a pack - with a dog guard

It shows it fitting seat side of the dog guard - but if you do that it does not fit well - the side joining velcro does not secure correctly around the dog guard.

Also the side sections that hook up on the load cover points - the LHS flaps about and keeps coming off as I do not have the seperate AC unit that would pack it out.

If you do not want to use the dog guard - and have the seperate AC unit in rear - you will have no issues.

The LR one

As of a few weeks ago Hatch Bag nor any other supplier still had anything - except Trans K9 who had a metal cage
