TPMS differences between models
On my D240 First Edition my spare wheel/ tyre registers on the TPMS monitor and requires a pressure in excess of 48psi to clear a low pressure warning. All 5 wheels have Grey tyre valves. The running tyres are inflated to 34/37 psi for light load running.

At the weekend I was off-roading with a D250 HSE and a D250 SE.
The HSE had 5 wheels with grey valves but only the 4 wheels on the road where shown on the TPMS screen………
The SE had the 4 running wheels with TPMS valves and pressures shown on the screen but the spare wheel had a silver valve stem so no TPMS sensor is fitted. The spare wasn’t shown on the TPMS screen at all, no error messages.

What is the legal situation running a full size spare without TPMS sensor fitted as a running tyre after a puncture on a car that is type approved to run with a full automatic TOMS as required by the construction rules? Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Hmm, interesting question!

If you replace one of the normal running wheels with a non-TPMS wheel, what does the on-board TPMS system do?
