Tailgate keyless entry
The keyless entry for my tailgate has stopped working (2020 110 SE). That is, if I walk up to the tailgate with the key in my pocket, I can't open it. Everything else is fine - doors, opening the tailgate with the key, soft-close, etc.

There's a fault reported by the Gap tool (beta) that won't clear:

RFA-Remote Function Actuator
B1DDE-13 (2A) - loadspace interior/exterior low frequency transmitter circuit open.

I did recently remove the rear bumper that involves disconnecting/reconnecting wiring. However, I thought all the tailgate remote components were behind the lefthand loadspace cover, not in the bumper.

Any ideas? 1981 Series III 88 Santana Especial

Could be the LF antenna in the rear bumper. ( Do not remember that it is in the loadspace ,but not sure anymore)

Look at number 3 .

Thanks. Look's like it's behind the rear bumper. That's annoying, I should have checked before I re-installed the bumper. Sigh.
