Nice smart looking vehicle, GLWTS. Did the 3 bolt tailgate hinges last as far as 1964? I thought they were only on the Series 2’s and didn’t carry over to the 2A’s.

Yes it’s a 2.25 petrol.
I’m no rivet counter but I believe it to be very original. It arrived to me with an electronic fuel pump. I’ve added electronic distributor and Weber carb I also added military style top door hinges so the mirrors work! |

Chassis is original. I wanted to tow so had it checked and new cross member fitted in 2017 It looks good to me still. Bulkhead shows evidence of being a replacement and is very good There is a small hole under steering wheel into engine bay.. it’s always been there for me…and on the to do list😟 Clemmo |
