Just bought a brand new genuine parts NAS step (wow haven’t they got expensive !) and want to increase its longevity before installing, what’s the best product to use these days ?

As 90 Dreamer suggests, the only real solution is to get them galvanised. Generally, they're just a terrible design that seems to trap water everywhere. Darren

just to add I had also drilled small 'drains' at the obvious water traps and to ensure that there was good internal coverage
