2012 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 SW Santorini Black

Fire & Ice step top replacements?

I'm in the middle of trying to rid my landy of any tatty rusty area's ready for selling, and I've got to the side steps.

The steps in question are the ice and fire style. The main steps are good and solid and would spray up nicely after a sanding down, but the metal plate ontop of the rubber parts ideally need replacing.

Does anyone know anywhere where I could buy just those rubber tops or metal plates rather than having to replace the whole steps? I've tried looking but google isn't coming up with much unfortunately

This is one of those things that comes up time and again and I don't think anybody has ever found a source of parts for any of the common step designs, I'm afraid. Darren

Think I’ve got some surplus to use that are hiding in the garage that came off the old steps I took of. They are off a 110 though.

Yeah when you see the components involved its surprising no ones brought them out separately. I might try one of the local fabricators and see if they could laser cut two plates off for me
