HT orders April and after…
Has anybody ordered a HT during April or even after have a half decent delivery date?

Hi Ben any chance of a screen shot?

My dealer has actually asked me to prove that people have ordered after me and are getting earlier delivery dates
You have archived both….

I ordered 1st April, and been given 10th November as delivery date!

Would really help my case with my dealer if I could see a screen grab.

Did you order a 90 or 110?

Thanks Ben,

That’s really helpful, it will be interesting to see what explanations my dealer / jlr offer for such a difference in wait times considering we have ordered pretty much the same vehicle

Is anyone else getting fed up with the complete lack of communication? Having seen this morning's interior reveal of the Grenadier, i'm tempted to can the Defender order and hold out for the Ineos instead.

It’s the way dealer allocations work. If your dealer had more Defender orders than another, you’ll wait longer than a person who orders at the other dealer. It works this way with all manufacturers that have franchise dealers.

Dealer allocations can get adjusted/negotiated to correct any major discrepancies, but this is done at a dealer level, not an individual order level.

Given the public statement by LR that due to component shortages they are prioritizing higher value orders over lower value defenders then it looks like you going to have a low chance of trying to get yours prioritized.
