Suspension setup difference between TD5 CSW / Hardtop / Pick

I've got a 90 TD5 hardtop which I want to drive a bit more like my TD5 CSW,

Granted my CSW has had a lot of upgrades, but I wondered if there was a spec difference between the CSW factory springs and shocks vs the hardtop and pickup variant?

Also as a side note, my CSW have some aftermarket shock absorbers, they've got a dark navy blue casing but no markings on, does it hint a brand to any of you?

Csw have dual rate springs. Soft when empty and get harder when loaded.
Gross weight is also different from the HT or pickup. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Yes this hardtop is very crashy on uneven road

Yes, it is possible.

Have a look at the table with part numbers on this site: http://www.red90.ca/rovers/springinfo.html
Unfortunately this list does not have the latest spring specs fitted on puma.

Spring rate will affect how harsh your ride is. The higher the spring rate, the faster the spring will push the chassis up after hitting a bump. I suggest you first try to determine what springs you have then you know your current spring rate. Then choose a spring with lower spring rate. When going for lower spring rate, you will also need to choose longer spring, as the spring will compress more for the same weight. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
