2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Keswick Green

90HT Order Placed

After more time playing on the configurator that any grown man should admit to, finally called the dealer to put in an order. Don't want to run my Puma into the ground and once the new work horse arrives it can retire and get a bit of TLC.

Dealer quoted delivery of roughly Oct/Nov but tbh not in a massive rush - it'll get here when it gets here. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

Doing some talks at the 5 on the Farm Festival in Yorkshire and needed to transport 250 sunflowers. Asked my local dealer nicely if I could have a hard top for the weekend and they said yes.
D300 110 SE HT.

First time driving one any real distance on a mix of twisty roads, fast motorway and slowwwwww motorway. Wish it had adaptive cruise control for that but other than that, absolute dream of a truck. The space and comfort after coming from my Puma 90.

Was surprised when I noticed it was on springs - ride was great. Honestly thought it was on air.

Have a 90 HT on order too, hopefully for October/November delivery. Had 3 Discoverys since 2005, latest is a 2014 4 which has just clocked up 100,000. Don't need such a big vehicle now and the 5 is too fancy for farm use. Loved the test drive I had and, like Ben, have spent far too much time on the configurator. Really looking forward to it arriving, I hope I won't regret the change...

The configurator is dangerous, I had dozens of specs by the time it came to placing an order, then the pandemic hit and LR cancelled the 90 until 21MY and I had to go through it all again
