The Blindo wheel thread
I have looked for a thread on Blindo wheels, but i could not find one, so i have started this one as i was wondering how many of you have Blindo wheels fitted to your defender.
I will start of with these i just got fitted on Saturday, they are 16" x 7" ET 15 and i have 265/75/16 AT KO2s fitted

There may well be performance improvements, but these will be the result of one's wallet being substantially lighter than it was before, I think! Rolling with laughter

I love mine, I am not a big fan of most aftermarket wheels but Blindos just look so "right" somehow. It helps that they were OE on so many military specials too.

I should perhaps have noted in my photo-post above that the tyres on mine are 255/85 BFG KM3s.

The observant amongst you will notice that these are in fact not fitted to a defender. Rolling with laughter

They are however destined for the 127, I think they are ET15 shod with 285/75 Coopers. 1985 127 V8 Build Thread

They look great Thumbs Up

So +15 ET offset. IIRC the Boost alloy is a +33 ET. Correct me if I am wrong but does that mean that there is more tyre/rim inside the wheel arch and does that not give you less steering lock?!

I realise I may be confused here. I do like those rims though Thumbs Up
