Ingenium I6 engines

Guys,

I am looking for knowledge sharing.
I will pick up the new Defender D250 6 pot diesel in 2 weeks; decision made, done, too late to change.
My wife wants the new Velar with D300 I6 engine....

Some people says they are great engines, some others say they are not surviving till first oil change...
What is your experience with those Ingenium inline 6 pot engines? Issues, problems, pros, cons? 2021 Defender 90 D250
