United Kingdom 2006 Defender 130 Td5 HCPU Chawton White
[Wanted] Webasto / aux heater fuel take off/pickup TD5
Hi all

Long shot but does anyone have the parts needed to add a fuel pickup to the little stub on the stock Defender TD5 fuel pump kicking around in their stock that they'd be willing to sell?
Pretty sure it was the same bits for Discoveries as well as Defenders (JEI100030 as far as I can tell)

Found these photos from another post to show what I'm looking for, (not sure which if either is genuine?) seems its just the rubber elbow and that you use the stock webasto 2mm ID fuel tubing as the pickup/

I'm trying to avoid dropping the tank on my 130 just to measure up and then trying to then find something on ebay etc to bodge something up from.

I've looked at the inline filler pipe type but not convinced they'll fit a 130 nicely as there doesn't seem to be that much of straight section on the 130 filler hose

Cheers
Ben

Failing that if anyone happens to have a TD5 pump kicking around either for sale that I can then play with off vehicle, or is willing to measure the OD and ID of that fuel take off stub Smile

Cheers all

Fit one of these, saves dropping your tank or messing with the pump

I have one on my 130

I have been after a busted td5 pump for ages just for the plastic strainer on the bottom to replace the cracked on on mine. Happy to go halves on a rough fuel pump off ebay if you are interested? Thumbs Up

I would second that for sure.

It's super fast to fit, means you have easy access to it in the future, and just works. Just make sure you double jubilee clip each end of it to make sure it's nice and secure.

Made me feel better anyway.

Thanks, don't suppose you could grab a photo of it fitted on your 130 could you if you get a mo Smile
I wasn't sure how much straight section they needed but didn't seem to be much space on a 130 filler.

Thanks
Ben

Cool will let you know if I go that route with it, interested to see how well the fuel filler/inline ones work now.
