I wonder why?
I wonder why the new Defender, that has camera's everywhere, needs a separate Dash-cam to record the road (front and rear) etc when surely all that is needed is a memory card and slot!

Am I missing something or have the manufacturers missed a trick here - or more importantly, are they in cahoots with the Dash-cam manufacturers Idea Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free

"UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

don't think it does... other than to justify stiffing you, what was it, over 700 quid for a horrificly bulky pair of devices. Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Goodness me! What a butcher job!

I installed my Nextbase camera yesterday - literally took me 10mins and I didn't need to remove a single bit of trim to hide the cable.

And my camera doesn't exclude much of the opposite side of the road like the LR one.

I wonder if it is due to the different country specific legal restrictions on their use around the world?
With 83 ECUs or whatever, It wouldn't surprise me if they weren't secretly recording anyway Whistle
