200tdi preventive work
Hi all,

Have a 130 200tdi, engine seems very standard but in good condition. It's a 92 defender with 55k miles.

Besides the usual oil & filter servicing, what should I be looking to change or upgrade before it breaks or to improve reliability

At 55k it's barely run in. Beyond regular servicing, I'd just drive and enjoy it. Darren

I would replace the cam belt for peace of mind.

As above ^^ (both posts) - change the cambelt for peace of mind and enjoy driving it.

As an aside, I once spied a 200tdi here in a car park with 940,000kms on the clock. Thumbs Up Army 110 3 Door 200tdi
