Another starting problem.
My 2011 2.4 has had a intermittent starting fault for a few years but not enough to bother me till know.

The symptoms are that it cranks fine but won’t fire. I’ve noticed when this occurs the temp gauge shoots up to red when cranking.Also if the battery voltage drops a bit it’s not keen to fire. Battery good connections good. I can try it a few times then it starts fine.

Any suggestions from the wise?

This is another topic I will start a thread for but I need to get a fault code reader to check if any codes are registered so I will be looking for suggestions up to £300???

Morning,

It is a relay under the drivers seat. I think it is the second from last.
I cleaned mine and it has been fine ever since.
