DiscoTd5.com
Hi,
I was wondering wether anyone on here has had any experience using the ECU maps from discotd5.com. From reading it seems a lot of work has gone into them and for a donation you can have access to the maps to flash yourself with a nanocom.
The technicals kept me entertained for a while.

Obviously the risk is all down to you but the price difference between a commercial map and a second hand nanocom isn't huge and you'll end up with the device.

Thanks

Interesting read on that site eh?! I was just there this morning reading about MAP sensor modifying. I have not tried their maps though...

Although I have been tempted because well why not... give it a go...

Figured that given time and a second ECU to play around with (afterwards a back up) it'd be worth a try Wink

You going to give it a go?

I think i will, ECUS aren't expensive and it seems like a bit of fun. Possibly more rewarding than just paying someone a chunk of cash to reuse a tune for the 100000000th time.

On the hunt for a nano-com now!

ah, first up. there are no free maps to be given away on the site, the XDF comes with standard maps.

The XDF are the parameter definition of the values that can be adjusted to create a map.

this site teaches you how to catch the fish. ie make changes to those parameters to create your own maps.

it's a great site and the author has done great work.

So if you are willing to put in the time and effort and you enjoy tweaking your own map, then it's a fun experience. From the land of the most expensive land rover defenders on planet earth. At 125k for a XS 110 csw and you get to own it only for 10yrs! Please find me a good reason to stay on this island.
