2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Stornoway Grey
Webasto fuel pickup
In the past I have always dropped the tank to fit fuel pickup for webastos.

My 110 has twin pickup in the filter body head.

The 130 currently has a single pickup in the fuel head, there is no room for a 2nd.

I wish to fit a 2nd go the 130.

So do I go for an online filler neck pickup arrangement as per other posts and links on here?
- Would need to buy one £70ish delivered.
- does it fit a hi cap tub filler, there are more bends it seems than hard top filler.
- it's going to be quite exposed on fitting at rear wheel arch
- it's easier to fit and fix if a problem

Or

Drop tank and drill tank body to fit 2nd pickup.
- this is no cost option as have a pickup
- concerns of it leaking
- integrity of tank is lost with a hole in the top for new pickup

Who's done what and why?

It seems many don't drop the tank due to the have in doing so. I am not worried on this part, more so the elements above.[/s] Cheers
