I saw a system recently that allowed vehicle accessories to be operated from a smartphone. It was basically a relay box that you hide away somewhere that included a bluetooth receiver. Then there's a corresponding phone app. That sort of thing would allow you to have all of the things you want to add without any visible switches - just your phone in a holder. I'll admit it's a bit of a niche solution, though. For the radio, as as standalone solution I'd go with the standard in-dash mount, unless you end up with the TD5-type. I’ve always liked the early NAS defender 90 dash. The radio is in the cubby and the dash tray empty. You could add extra switches to the cubby.
