Has anyone had any experience in passing cabling through the firewall into the interior? I'm going to add a second battery into the engine compartment, but want to place the Redarc battery charger somewhere in the interior.

Also, has anyone come across any resources on how to remove interior trim? As part of this wiring exercise I'm trying to mount an sPod switch to the dash and it's 'brains' to the inside of the battery compartment, where the Redarc will likely also live.
