Looks like it. Works well with the black roof and the colour coded arch extensions

Yes looks like Eiger grey to me. As you say, a custom job rather than an actual XS but an interesting thing to see.

I think that the colour coded extended arches look better than the black ones which look a bit toyish to me (plus only poverty spec defenders haven’t had colour coded arches since about 2000 😂)

I think I might still paint/replace/wrap the lower panels black though on my XS. Cheers, David

Couple more off Instagram with colour coded lower panels… definitely think I’m going to go black for the lower cladding…

Anyone seen an actual XS? I am quite excited about how my Silicon Silver will look with the painted trim; actually like some of the mods I've seen so hopefully that's a good sign.
Mine apparently is still due to be built on 21/05 (not counting on it!) so maybe it'll be one of the first. The configurator still doesn't work with the XS which doesn't help.

“ The configurator still doesn't work with the XS which doesn't help.”

It’s a joke… don’t we know anyone at Land Rover who should be getting a kick?

2 months to update a configurator is ridiculous!

Do they think everyone enjoys just spending hours navigating the pdf price guide? No doubt it’s costing them orders… Cheers, David

I wonder if they will provide the XS option on the configurator?

Colour coding the lower panel's definitely seems to upset the equilibrium of the side view - door panels look too deep now as compared to the window/roof portion. Very odd. Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Maybe a little blobby in the 90 but the "bay ratio" will be okay in the 110. Oddly I prefer the 2020 dull trims over the shiny painted X version.

Trust me Thumbs Up

concur, even on the 110 the colour coordinated wheel arches make it look slab sided, more full fat RR style,
personally I prefer the black contrast.. yet another pommie bar steward down under

Yep, I like Godwana Stone and had ordered the FE in the colour before I was told I was 2 days too late (MY22 was due to be announced). But I figure for me the XS would just have too much of this colour for my liking - I liked it with the black roof and black trim as the colour is a little bit different.

Also really not a fan of the silver bumpers being body coloured.

Pleased I am getting silicon silver too having seen a few more online examples. Black also would have be good as nullifies any concerns on the body coloured trim.

An actual XS (supposedly)… I quite like it.

Still think I’ll get the lower panels done in black though, but don’t mind the wheel arches Cheers, David

Good find. This is the reason I went for the Silicon as I thought the silver would look a little "washed" out.

Only thing I don't really like are the A pillars

Interesting you say about the A pillar. Look at the picture from the brochure of the new XS...

Now on the configuration just in case anyone missed the post on here.

Slight price rise with the 3 zone and rear cooling assist and two tone A pillars
