Fuel Light Sound
Hi All

A question for those that have delved into the innards of the instrument cluster. What creates the low fuel sound? Is it a component on part of the cluster PCB, or is it a freestanding component that I could potentially trigger externally? I have a harness in mind that I'm going to be creating (potentially commercially or at least small scale hobby) but I'm wondering if there is an easier way around it.

Rats. Does anyone know of a relay or similar that makes a decent tone? Most of them are just buzzers etc and sound proper oldschool. I’ve already got a board to run a couple of little speakers if it comes to it but it’s a bit bulky. North Cumbria Search and Rescue - Team Leader

Not sure if it’s helpful, but I’ve used a beeping indicator relay in a noisy rally car. Seems there’s quite a few of those on the market.
