TD5 Hone or Rebore
So the manuals say not to rebore a TD5. Although I know turners have no problems with it and sell oversized pistons for this. However, would this get away with honing or would it need a rebore. Number one is the worse with a little bit of scuffing. The others are all pretty good except 5 just at the top.

As you say a hone would work on most cylinders but one of them looks bad. Can’t really tell by a photo if it’s too scored to require more than a hone. I assume you would hone yourself, and take to engineering shop for bore. So either hav3 a go honing the worst, or take the bloke to an engine shop and get an opinion.
