110 D250 X Dynamic HSE finally ordered!
So we have finally placed our order and handed over our deposit for a new 110 to replace SWMBO’s D4 Cool

D250 X Dynamic HSE 5 Seat
Gondwana Stone with Ebony
Dark Grey Cross Beam (Swmbo’s non negotiable)
Explorer Pack
Ladder
Fixed Side Steps
11.4” Pivi Pro
Comfort Pack
Cold Climate Pack
Tow Pack
Surround Sound
Three Zone Climate
5098 Wheels Dark Grey
Off Road Tyres
Extended Black Pack

22MY changes with the black pack means we intend to get the extended wheel arches and “lunch box” painted gloss black too which means it will look very similar to this: (without the wheels and light bar, for now!)

Looks like a May build for June delivery which suits us fine but the long wait begins Big Cry

Not sure we really need it but have just changed the spec to include the off road pack Rolling Eyes

I doubt we will make good use of the electronic rear diff but thought we should “future proof” the new beast for all eventualities Laughing

Lovely choices Sir. I think Gondwana really suits the black contrast compared to the silver.

I had a very quick drive in my friends week old 90 D250 FE today and absolutely loved it, can’t wait, mildly excited! Cool

I can't see ours spending any time in "The Bush" unless my wife steers into one Laughing

Too much gloss black was a factor we considered but it will spend more time on road than off and had to balance the pro's and con's of HSE vs X Dynamic HSE and in the end my hand was forced by the £180 option of the dark grey cross beam, only available on X Dynamic Rolling Eyes

I am considering ceramic coating as soon as it's delivered if I can prise it away from her or maybe PPF the gloss black lower sections and arches Thumbs Up

I got the dark grey cross beam, and I really like it. Ceramic coating will help protect it. I got it done by a local chap. £100 less than dealer price. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV
